Sherfield Fête 2023

This year’s fête will take place on Saturday June 10th. As always, the venue is our village green, and as always we’re working to make it the best fête yet.

The fête programme is now ready and will be distributed around the village over the coming weeks. You can also pick up a copy at local shops and pubs, but if you can’t wait, you can download a PDF copy here (NB 8MB file).

Booking for stalls at this year’s fête is now closed. Thanks to all who have applied and we look forward to seeing you on the 10th.

The main local beneficiary for this year’s fete will be Basingstoke and District Young Carers, who provide support young carers aged 8 to 18 living within the Basingstoke & Deane District.

The fête committee are busy finalising arrangements and attractions for this year. Please do contact us if you would like to be part of the team, or offer to help us in other ways. Offer your help here, drop us an email, or post on our Facebook page.

Can you help us to reach our fund-raising target by donating items to be sold or raffled off at the fête? We will be running our usual village collection in the weeks leading up to the fête, but this year you can also contact us online. See the Village Stalls page.

We are still taking bookings for the enthusiasts car show and entries for our fun family dog show.

The regular village market will also be running alongside the fête in the village hall, a day ahead of its usual Sunday date. There’s lots to see, so do pop in to have a look.

The main fête proceedings will finish at 5pm, but if you want to carry on with the fun, the White Hart is holding an after-fete party, and if you’re still hungry after all the fête food and drink, why not pop over to the Four Horseshoes for a meal?
